American Humane Association

“We make a living by what we get, we make a life by what we give.

– Winston Churchill

At Delegate, we believe that the power of one is expanded by the strengths of many.  Our mission is to help you do more of what you love to have an even stronger impact on the world.

It is this passion for helping others that drives us internally as a team as well.  Each month in addition to our team-wide contribution to our selected charity, Women for Women International, we select one team member and support their favorite charity through donation and promotion.

Cherie is our winner this month, and she chose to donate to the American Humane Association!  Fitting, considering Emily’s new dog Emmet selected the winner!

The reasons I chose this charity is because (1) Justin was nominated for the Be Kind to Animals™ Kid Contest in 2010 and won the grand price of $1,000 – now, I would like to pay it forward and (2) because they are advocates for policy and legislation that will benefit children and animals and keep them safe from abuse and neglect.”

“Created in 1915, it is the oldest event in the nation to celebrate the companionship, friendship and love that animals bring into people’s lives.  Be Kind to Animals Week is a great time to promote the wonderful work being done by the nation’s animal welfare organizations and to encourage everyone to get involved in making a difference for animals. ”

“The picture is of me doing a dog transport.  This pup was rescued from a bad situation and we were a part of volunteers who drove him to his rescue.  As we call it, it was Doodle’s freedom ride!!!”
